its like my friend. he has a stereo amplifier that uses vacum
tubes, which get very hot when turned on. most people will fit
an ugly cage over the tubes to keep children/pets from burning
their fingers/paws.
not him. he told his kid repeatedly not to touch the tubes
because they are hot. one fine day the brat burnt his fingers
touching one of the tubes. he told his kid "what did I tell you?
orh bee good! see whether you still dare to touch!!"
